Bonding Weekend is a darkly romantic supernatural rock fantasy—Rockmantasy, I’ve termed it— that will take you on a wild romp through the Atlanta underground club scene. You’ll meet rock singer/bartender Jake Reece, who just wants to be a rock star but his obsession, a fallen angel in the guise of a girlfriend from his dark past, thrusts him into the dangerous world of magic by binding him to a coveted amulet of fallen angel prophecy. He’s surrounded by a wild cast of characters like my demon slayer trio led by Marci Stone who live double lives as strippers in Atlanta Midtown. You’ll meet the eccentric coven cast of the band Dark Promise, who live in the much storied stigmatized Nightmare Mansion, haunted by Jake’s dream band. These guys can’t wait to return to the flesh and join Jake on his quest to save the Queen of the Fallen and, oh yeah, be larger than life rock stars! Needless to say, there’s lots of magic, sex and partying going on in this infamous house as a showdown with the Darkened approaches during the Bonding Weekend rock fest.
